I did not tackle that one. Was working on some new functions to allow inline as well as "native" attachments. Still not working with some mail clients. Grrr

No problem. Was more of a curiosity than chomping at the bit.

Just want to clarify a few things:

- the format of the date/time field is derived from
http://localhost/cacti/graph_settings.php. You can change this to your likings. All/most date/time fields in cacti use this format

- you can't enter a date/time that is in the past
Cacti will replace this with current date/time, then. Date/time in the future is (should be?) accepted

Please verify

On my system, it doesn't matter which date you choose in the future - the date and time are always set to the current date/time

Please post the settings for date/time from graph_settings.php URL (a screenshot would do)

Actually, my mistake

On checking, I can create a scheduled date and time of 07/07/2010 23:00:00, where the time is accepted.

I tried to create a report for 06/07/2010 23:00:00, and it sets the time back to current. This time is in the future, but the date isn't - do I understand this correctly ?

Thanks

Again, that depends on your date/time settings under graph_settings.php.

Yes and yes. BUT HOW do they look like? I can't give you an advice when I don't know what you're looking at. I do not assume that you're dumb; but it happens from time to time that things go weird. And honestly, I can't reproduce. So I want to verify each and every element of the chain. So, please, a screenshot

Reinhard,

Sorry - not in front of a PC at the moment, so will have to post this tomorrow. It's not for not wanting to post it - been out of the office for a few days, and all of my posts are from my Blackberry.

Ok - I got it.

Changed "End of Day Shift" from 18:00 to 23:59, and now it works as expected.

Thanks for the patience :)

Hi,
I've been following this thread because I'm experiencing the same problem as mcutting but, unfortunately, the solution he adopted didn't work for me. Is there any other thing I could try to solve this issue? Any workaround?
Thanks in advance.

Ok, i've noticed that when I try to set the time to, for example, 26/07/2010 00:00:00, it sets current time instead. But if I set the time to 07/26/2010 00:00:00, it detects the time correctly as 26/07/2010 00:00:00. Apparently it is changing time formats at some step, don't know exactly where.
Regards.

The time format is (should be) governed by your time format settings. To find those, please navigate to "Graphs", then to the "Settings" tab on the right.
You may change the time format that governs (should govern) all/most of the cacti time/date displays
