[solved] installing server 2008 r2 using web platform 2

Post by kohuser »

Good day,

Server 2008 R2 supports installation of php and my sql via web platform 2.

1. Has anyone tried to install them with the web platform and then configure the cacti?

2. Is there a guide corresponds to the configuration of cacti when php and mysql were installed using web platform?

3. Is there a difference manual for Installing Cacti Under Windows for server 2003 and server 2008 R2? I didn't see one, so perhaps i am looking n the wrong place...
in this post:

the follwing answer was asked:
1. Is it possible to install cacti on Windows Server 2008 64 bit OS ? if yes, could u tell me which software version to be used and How to install it? And does Windows Server 2008 support the following things?
- cacti
- php
- rrd tool
- net-snmp

BSOD2600 answered:
1) Yes, just follow the windows installation guide in my signature. For performance, you should use 64bit versions of the dependency software.

I never found the guide under his signature... can anyone help with that?

With thanks,

Itamar
