problem running php database_upgrade_php

Post by friskyjack »

Hello,

after an update to Ubuntu Linux 10.04 LTS with cacti 0.86e i got a problem with the new Mactrack version 2.6

I can't run the database_upgrade_php
I got the following errors

php database_upgrade.php
PHP Deprecated: Comments starting with '#' are deprecated in /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/idn.ini on line 1 in Unknown on line 0
PHP Deprecated: Comments starting with '#' are deprecated in /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/mhash.ini on line 1 in Unknown on line 0
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php5/20090626+lfs/mhash.so' - /usr/lib/php5/20090626+lfs/mhash.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Directive 'register_long_arrays' is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Directive 'magic_quotes_gpc' is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0
This function is depricated. Please goto Plugin Management from the WebUI to Upgrade

I fixed some tables manually but can now only see entry on the mac adresse tab.

What is the problem with php or is there any oportunity to run a sql instead of the php?

Upgrading the DB isn't needed in .87, not sure about .86. Can you run the plugin architecture on .86? If you can't upgrade to a more current version of Cacti, you might want to try this in a dev environment.

If you are talking about importing a device from Cacti to Mactrack, I get that same message. I have just been setting up the devices manually. I am only running this on the dev server to test out the functionality, so adding them one by one isn't that bad. Importing them would be nice in the production world.

Does that answer the question?

No. The message I get when adding devices manually.
Could you even put how to add the device with screenshots and descriptions, please
probably I'm doing some mistakes when adding devices.
And what more can you say about the message in the log

Previously very grateful :)

With best regards Mrt_
