Get previous graph data into new one

Post by anujshrivastava »

Hi,
I am new and sorry if this requirement posted earlier.

I am using cacti 0.8.7d to plot bandwidth graphs for more than 100 users.

My requirement is if customer device port is changed how should i get customers old graph data into new one.

I have tried to change Host , Inbound data source and outbound data source keeping same rrd file and i am getting new graphs output but not getting old graphs value.

Is it possible to use same graph including keeping old data even changing device port so that customer will get same bandwidth graph always.

I hope i will get prompt solution here.

Thanks .... Anuj.

All graphed data is stored in the associated rrd file(s) for a data source. When the index/port/whatever changes and you create a new data source, simply re-target it to the old data source that was previously used.
