Add optional notes/descriptions/captions to graphs in tree
Sometimes I need to create complex pages with set of relative graphs from different devices. Usually I do that by create new graph tree whith needed graphs on it.
But unfortunately I cannot found any abilities to add notes or descriptions on such pages. I don't want to change name of the graph which added automatically by cacti. Is there any way to add any sort of captions/notices to such graphs or for example something like named separators as new Tree Item Type?
Finally I want to get the ability to create pages with set of different graphs and short description for each graph.

I suppose that the "QuickTree" plugin would be of use for you. You may need additional features to design what you want to see. But I suppose that this would be a good starting point.
Then, there is the "Nectar" plugin which allows for custom "report formats".
Your request seems to be sth in between both of them.
You may want to create your own plugin in case you don't find what you need right now.

If you look on the forums, there is a plugin called "Notices"venter wrote:Sometimes I need to create complex pages with set of relative graphs from different devices. Usually I do that by create new graph tree whith needed graphs on it.

I've already tried to install it but it seems that it cannot work with new plugin architecture:mcutting wrote:If you look on the forums, there is a plugin called "Notices"

Status: Old Plugin Architecture
I've tried to use Nectar, i think 0.2x versions have all needed features, including report preview, but I cannot force it to work. I've searched forum and find a tread with same problem discussion. So I've posted my issues there.gandalf wrote: Then, there is the "Nectar" plugin which allows for custom "report formats".

Hello, venter wrote:Yes, you are right, it's started to work after adding to array in include/global.php.gandalf wrote:That status alone does not imply it won't work with current PIA. At least it's worth a try

I know quite a long time has past but... do you remember by any chance what and where exactly you added/changed to make that old plugin (notices) work OK? I've been struggling to make it in Cacti 0.8.8b with no luck
