RRDClean 0.38 in Cacti 0.8.7e(PA 2.6) Problem

Post by hnsmxjj »

Hi!I have installed cacti plugin RRDclean 0.38(Cacti 0.8.7e and PA 2.6).
Today I delete a device(I select to delete all graphs and data sources)and then I use RRD cleaner. At this time,I find some unused rrd files.
After I delete this unused rrd files,I find this files is still existence.
I don't know why?What shall I do?

Hello,gandalf!
I do following this steps:
1、I add a test device and run several hours, then I delete this device.(page1.jpg)
2、I clink RRD cleaner superlink, delete this test device unused rrd files. At this time,I find no unused graphs.(page2 and page3.jpg)
3、I clink RRD cleaner superlink again, and I find this test device unused rrd files I deleted is still existing!(page4.jpg)
I don't know why?What shall I do?(My cacti environment(page5.jpg))

The delete process will run under control of the poller. After "deleting" the unused files from console, you'll have to wait until the next poller run has completed. You will find some messages in log/cacti.log for each deleted file.
