Fresh install of 8.7f

Post by stextor »

First off, thanks for a great product.
I've downloaded Cacti 8.7f and got it to work only without the PA archecture 2.7. If I install the PA files over those in the /var/www/cacti/ directory, edit the /includes/global.php to set my Cacti URL, I then go to http://localhost/cacti/ .. I get nothing but a blank screen. No error messages, nothing. Mind you it worked perfectly without the PA 2.7 files. I've tried both methods of installing the PA - directly overlaying the files or using the diff file.

What am I doing wrong?

New info:
I installed 8.7f (fresh install) and then layed the PA 2.6 files over it and it works fine. Seems to be just with PA 2.7.

me too!
Cacti0.8.7f work well.but when I
#\cp -rf cacti-plugin-arch/files-0.8.7f/* /var/www/cacti-0.8.7f/.
and then open the main page. It's appear the error with 550.
I have no patch the cacti-plugin-0.8.7f-PA-v2.7.diff and input the pa.sql.
It seem the PA2.7 had some bugs!

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
