Problem with SNMP remote machines

Post by frankh123 »

Hello,

I have a problem with cacti. When i install cacti and add some remote machines, i see at all graphs the same results. When i look to the details, and check te local machine, all graphs of the remote machines shows the stats of the local machine. I did already turn off the SNMP of the local machine.

How is this possible?

Please provide some further information like:

What cacti version are you using?
What polling-mechanism and version are you using?
Which OS are you running?
Which RRDTool version?
Provide some screenshots! Describe the problem accuratly.
Are you using PA? If yes, which version?
Which Plugins and versions do you use?
Which templates do you use for monitoring?
Post relevant lines of the cacti log!
Try to snmpwalk the oid/device (snmpwalk -v [version] -c [vstring] [ip/hostname] [oid]). What is the result?
Click on the wrench next to the two similar graphs. Post the results.

This is fixed now. I had to change the snmpd.conf at the linux servers.

Thank you for the reply!
