Graphs/RRDs Failing To Update

Things were going fine for months, but now the graphs are not updating with new data. (nothing has changed on the server).

When running cmd.php manually, it looks like the snmp gets work, but then I get this error and all processing stops:

Any ideas?

My guess was that this had to do with mysql rather than rrd or php. Is there a way to tell?

If no configuration files, versions or settings have changed, it sounds like you are htting a limit on the system side.

Just for giggles, try creating a file ( as the cacti user) in the rra directory example: date > testfile

If it does not let you, than the problem may be either a quota or inode setting on your system. If you can create the file, check your rrd.log file size, it may be maxed out (my system limit for rrd.log is 2Gb.)

Which is the limit. Is there a way to durn down rrd logging?

check under Cacti Console
I forget which tab it is, but you can select what gets logged

Cool.

I forget to mention.... add <cacti path>/log/rrd.log to your log rotation and your system will keep the rrd.log from getting out of hand
