Graph templates list not appearing when creating new devices

Post by Canto »

Hi,

Here is the situation : I have host templates that include graph templates. When I add new devices with those host templates, the associated graph templates are not automatically included with the devices : I have to manually create the required graph types from the pop-up menu under the "Create Graphs for this Host" section.
It was working OK some time ago and I have upgraded to 0.8.7e about 2 weeks ago but I can't say for sure the problem began at that time or if it appeared afterwards.

When I check my host templates, I can see the associated graph templates correctly. I have tried to delete then add the graphs template from the host templates but that doesn't solve the issue.

Any idea where I can look at ?

Cacti Version 0.8.7e
Cacti OS unix
SNMP Version NET-SNMP version: 5.3.1
RRDTool Version RRDTool 1.2.x
Hosts 869
Graphs 5352
Data Sources Script/Command: 3305
SNMP: 1265
SNMP Query: 2323
Script Query: 2
Total: 6895

Thanks,

I would suspect that maybe you had a custom patch to do this. That behavior is embedded in 0.8.8, which is not released.

You might want to look into Autom8, as it does the full monte.

I am a bit surprised as I don't think any custom patch was applied beforehand but maybe I was not clear in my explanation.

I include two screen captures to explain more precisely : I don't think it is normal behavior...

What's in your Cacti Log? Is the table crashed? Can you please run the repair_database.php script in the CLI directory?
