[solved]rrdtool1.4.3 / cacti0.8.7e (RRDTool Utility Version)

Hi,

I'm french user and I install Cacti 0.8.7e for my company.

I've a problem with rrdtool. Indeed, i've install rrdtool 1.4.3 before cacti 0.8.7e (hitherto no problem)

But, in the web page of cacti (http://my_server/cacti) i go to configuration and settings and i must select the RRDTool Utility Version but the highest version of RRDTool is "RRDTool 1.3.x". I want the "RRDTool 1.4.x" but there is no such version.

Have you a solution for this problem? The plugin rrdtool will it work still?

Moved from Cacti Plugins/Plugin General to Cacti - Support/Help:General.

As mentioned in many posts before, just ignore this error and wait until 0.87f. Please make use of the forum search for upcoming questions.

Until then, rrdtool-1.3.x will do fine. It only will NOT support new rrdtool 1.4.x features. BTB: 1.4.3 is know to be buggy.
