How to integrate Cisco ASA with CACTI

Post by ezorrilla »

Hello there guys,

I hope you can help me. I need to make CACTI talks with Cisco ASA, but even though I have applied ACL which allows snmp from CACTI to ASA it is not working, I keep getting that Cisco ASA is down.

Could you please let me know which one is procedure to add Cisco ASA firewalls on CACTI.

I successfully create Cisco routers and I can get graphs from them. It seems ASA is another story since I keep getting down the ASA object when I add it.

Thanks for your time.

Which method did you chose for "Availability/Reachability Options" in the device screen of your cisco ASA?

I have used snmp for availability/reachability options. It is working now, it seems it was just a matter of time.

Thanks a lot.
