wrong graphs

Post by Lutz »

Hi,

I searched for a solution to get a monthly graph with 5min, what means no consolidation and found this way:
http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:8_rrdt ... _data_loss

I have done all the modification but at the final step, "Create Graphs for this Host", a problem occur.
If I create a Graph for a interface with the NEW graph type Cacti ask me for a title and shows only: |host_description| - Traffic
If I use the "normal" graph type Cacti is creating the graph immediately.

Maybe this is related to a wrong Associated Data Template:
Data Queries -> SNMP - Interface Statistics -> select the new Associated Graph Templates:
Under "Suggested Values" there are no entrys for Data Template and Graph Template.

Where is the problem?

Regards
Lutz

You did copy the Data Template and changed the copy? Or did you modify the "original" Data Template?

Which version of Cacti are you using? We had a problem with copying a data template some time ago.
