Post by archimede333 »

Dear all,

I work currently with Cacti for obtain information on disk I/O in Windows environnement system (Windows 2k3).
Cacti is installed in Linux Operating System.
Windows use NSClient++ for collect and send data.

I have tested templates present here: plethora of windows nsclient scripts.
This template use check_nt and perl scipts. But I don’t have good results.
Furthermore, this template work with counter on Perfmon and I would like avoid used it.

Do you know a template work with NSClient++ for Windows and not using Perfmon.

Thanks for your help.

P.S. Windows 2003 is a French language, the counter also ;)

I shall add to my previous comment that I made some test with templates previously quoted.
Indeed, I have tested this template : cacti_data_template_windows_physicaldisk_total_split_iosec.xml, but I have nothing how result (graphic).
Of course, I have created the grahp template.
But, when I test my command in CLI, I have a result in terminal.

Furthermore, the hard disk not dismissal not always of information, because it not used constantly.

I’m very disappointed.

Best regard,
Alex.
