putty is a windows ssh client. There are other windows compiled ssh clients available.

What script are you trying to use and where is the failure?

Hello
Thanks a lot for your response but it s'not my need.
I know putty cygwin or mobextern tool.
My failure is the following,
My cacti is setup on a windows 2008 server, i have install cygwin on this server to.
I need to monitor one value from a linux client server but this value is not present in the mib. So i have wright a sh script and i am abble to refind my value if i execute it directly on the linux server.
My goal is to know how i can execute this remothe shell script from my cacti and graph it.

Thanks

Consider implementing the following http://docs.cacti.net/manual:087:1_inst ... snmp_agent

If that doesn't suit you, then this is more of a linux question... which I have no idea and then will move the post :P

It's not that easy with the MS Agent. However, the Net-SNMP agent on Windows should allow the same functionality. However, I have never tested it. It'll be slow though.

There are other agents commercial that extend MS's implementation real well.
