Usage reporting via SMTP

Is the usage and traffic PDF exporting and reporting via smtp feature available in cacti under windows.

Hi,

with Plug-Ins you can do that but with just the core Cacti it might become difficult to create PDFs by the system itself. You're talking about a real report and not a csv export, right?

Yes, coz I replaced the PRTG with cacti, the PRTG was emailing me a daily usage reports in form of pdf for all my network elements i chosen.

You might have a look at this (search the forum for plugin architecture by the way, this is required for the plug-ins to work):

what kind of reports you are generating, are they usage ones?, or availability reports.? and what is the format of the report.?

For nmidCreatePDF that is:

• All Cacti graphs can be included
• Availability reports will be available ( look here )
• DSStats support is available
• PDF and HTML output is supported. ( look at the sample report here for the PDF samples )

thought it's not free for sending the reports.

Nectar is free and sends out the Cacti graphs only as an "In-Line" attachment of a HTML mail.

Reportit has its own reporting engine where you can calculate e.g. Top talkers and other data from the rrd files.
