Help! Can't change the Maximum title length!

Post by armstrongzhao »

My cacti was set up on Windows 2003. I want to enlarge the 'maximum title length', 'Maximum field length' in data queries and 'Maximum title length' in data sources. All of them are under "Cacti Settings (Visual)". But the data which I have changed will return to default automaticly when I save it.

I guess that there is something wrong about the permissions Cacti needs set on files/folders.

Any idea? Which is not correct?

cacti 0.8.7e
PA 2.6
Global Plugin Settings
Directory: settings
Version: 0.6

I use Processmonitor to catpure the event logs, including php.exe, inetinfo.exe, svchost.exe, explorer.exe, cmd.exe, spine.exe, mysqld-nt.exe, rrdtool.exe. The filter result is denied. But I can't find any denied message.

The technical support page say everything is ok?
