Hi,
I just cannot figure out why will cacti generate two graphs each time when i use self defined graph template. Actually, I just want the one of them. Please guide me if there is someone knows this. Thank you.
For an instance:
1.
I created a new Data Template:
Data Templates [edit: Cisco Router - 1 Minute CPU (1 min step)]
See attached screenshot.
2.
I created a new Graph Template:
Graph Template Items [edit: 1 Cisco - CPU Usage (1 min step)]
Each item is using new created data template.
See attached screenshot.
3.
Then go to 'Device', generate graph. Unforturnately, cacti will create two graphs for me each time. One is for 5 mins, another is what I want.
This issue only was seen when I tried to use CPU, temperature, connections, memory template, etc. Not for the interface graph.
See attached screenshot.
Appreciate if someone knows this.
My environment:
cacti Version 0.8.7d
rrdtool: 1.2.x

Re: Generate two graphs each time by using self defined temp
You are using modified RRAs, then? You are aware of the fact, that simply selecting the Cacti default RRA's will not get you what you (probably) want? You will need a complete set of RRAs matching the 60 sec. step size required for 1 min polling!fzhongjie wrote:1.

This was copied from the basic CPU graph template, eh? Please delete the unwanted graph item inputs (02.jpg), then and retry2.
