I am looking for a way to monitor the actual physical drives of a server. The server in question is a dell power edge and I can get Cacti to monitor all the basics such as CPU and overall free disk space (C:\ E:\, etc)
However I want to be able to monitor the individual physical drives that are part of the RAID.
I spent some time searching over this forum and didn't find anything that seemed to work and provide the data.
For Cacti its the latest version of CactiEZ
Any help is appreciated.

1) you need to figure out how to pull this data first. is it exposed via dell snmp agent? wmi? something else?
2) search the script forum for others who have already figured out a solution.
3) If none exist, then there are instructions at http://docs.cacti.net/ for you to create your own templates.
