Weathermap and monitor

Post by bencac »

Hello everybody,

I search a stuff to have sound alert when my different map cycle with weathermap plugin.
I install monitor for having sound alarm but sound alerts just work when i'm on the monitor tab.

My wish is to have sound alerts ( with monitor plugin) when maps cycle.

Do you have an idea to make this ?

Thanks a lot

Just so I understand... you want to have a sound played whenever a new map is shown?? why?
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

NO, I want alarms from plugin monitor when I display my map on my screen.
When a switch is down, plugin monitor sounds an alarm but just when we are on the monitor tab. I want these alarms when I cycle my maps ( when I'm on weathermap tab).

Thanks

Ah - OK :-)

I would suggest opening a second browser tab with Monitor in it. Weathermap doesn't really know what is up and down - it's all just numbers.
