[solved] Red X in graph

Post by mfaisal_i »

Salam,

I am getting Red X in graph of cacti ...

i have used this http://www.tonyroman.us/~bsod/Cacti-0.8.7e_1.94.exe to install cacti on my pc windows xp sp2,

the versions are following as they are bundled in Cacti-0.8.7e_1.94.exe

-Cacti 0.8.7e
-Spine 0.8.7e
-Apache 2.2.14
-MySQL 5.0.88
-PHP 5.2.11
-Net-SNMP 5.5.0.2
-RRDTool 1.2.30
-GetIF 2.3.1

cacti-installer.log file is attached and i think there is no errors but its FYI

other errors and snapshots are attached, i have given iusr_ read permission on cacti and rrdtools folder.

kindly advice the solution.

Regards,
M. Faisal

installer log looks normal.

if you run rrdtool from the commandline, does it work?

double-check the ntfs permissions on cmd.exe and the rrdtool.exe directories. they need the cacti scheduled task user with read/execute rights along with the IIS web user account (IIS_USR / IUSR_COMPUTERNAME)
