Oddity with Graph Export?

Post by dragon2611 »

Running Cacti on a centos system, now I'm not sure if's related but it runs php 5.3 and I did have to suppress some warnings about deprecated calls as they prevent cacti from displaying.

I have graphs set to export to another folder so that people can view them without needing to login to cacti itself

There are about 4 Devices 1 sits on a tree on it's own at the others sit in the other tree.

For some reason when Cacti does the export for the machine called VOIP (a VM running asterisk) it exports successfully however when clicking the link in the tree for that graph you get a 404. The other items in the tree work fine.

Looking into the filesystem i've traced what I believe to be the cause of the problem but I'm not sure why it's doing it.

The Link points to Voip_17.html
However for some reason the export is generating the file as Voip__17.html (note the double underscore)

Ahh Solved it.

Turns out when setting up the device for monitoring I'd accidentally put a space at the end of the entry in the Description field.
