<path_php> in Data Input Methods

I've just made myself a data input method for tracking weathermap performance, in PHP. The input string must include the full path to my php executable. Cacti already knows where my php is - I'd like to be able to use <path_php> like I can use <path_cacti> so that my exported template doesn't need to be tweaked by anyone.

Well there you go then. I guess I have to think about Gandalf's concerns though. I don't think it's a big deal, but others should also comment on the feature request.

I'm talking about in the path for a data input method, not in a graph template, and not a general 'define everything you want' feature, just this one item that Cacti already has defined internally.

Really, you can already make Cacti run arbitrary code from the web UI by changing the path to rrdtool or php or snmpwalk, can't you?
