Discovery plugin

I've used cacti for a while now (despite my very poor post count!) and always assumed that the latest plug-ins for PA would be found here http://cactiusers.org/

How/why is it that the discovery plug-in is listed with completely different versions here: http://docs.cacti.net/plugin:discovery#download version 0.9 dated March 2008 and here http://cactiusers.org/ the official home (I think) of discovery which is version 0.8.5 and appears to have been updated 2009.

Which one is the latest and which should I be using?
