Values (G, M, k)

Post by Guest »

Ok,

Let's say that I have a value :

enterprises.ucdavis.dskTable.dskEntry.dskUsed.1 = 1076164
That's the value for blocks of 1024 or 1k-blocks.

How can I switch the value to the original value of a 1-blocks ?

Because when the first value shows in cacti, cacti thinks its a value in megs.
But in reality, it supposed to be in Gigabytes.

So is there a way to get the real value from snmp ? Or is there a work around in cacti to multiple the original value by 1024 ? And keep that new value in the graph and also in the legend ?

There is no way (to my knowledge) to make UCD output diskspace in gigabytes. To get gigabytes, I just created a CDEF that divided the result by 1024. That seemed to work for me. Tell me if you need any help doing this.
