Cacti With 2 NIC

Post by taarka »

Hello,

I have a Cacti server with 2 NIC in two different subnet. eth1 172.16.0.0 and eth2 192.168.0.0.
I can monitor my switch in 172.16.0.0 but I can not monitor 192.168.0.0.
I can "ping" my switch 192.168.0.0.

I have a SNMP error, do you have a solution ? :)

excuse for my english :-?

Does the switch allow SNMP from the 192.160.0.x address of the cacti server?
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

I can not used snmpwalk for my switch 192.168.0.200
I can used snmpwalk form my switch 172.16.0.200

I have the same snmp configuration in my switch.

192.168.0.1 (cacti IP) for my switch 192.168.0.200
172.16.0.1 (cacti iP) for my switch 172.16.0.200

My Cacti server is CactiEZ with CentOS4.
I shutdown iptable.

Thanks for your help :)

So your downed host detection is set to "SNMP only"?
