Please see 2nd link of my sig for debugging. E.g. an SNMP timeout problem may cause such a behaviour

I have no snmp time out in my cacti.log file.
Because of for another devices cacti can populate the same type of graphs correctly. (see below an example).

Another point my "memory_limit " at php.ini is set to 16M I want to increase it to 128M but I don't know the real impact at graphs and cacti functionality.

Message that I receive from:
Console -> Utilities -> Technical Support -> memory_limit = 16M

It is highly suggested that you alter you php.ini memory_limit to 72M or higher. This suggested memory value is calculated based on the number of data source present and is only to be used as a suggestion, actual values may vary system to system based on requirements.

Thanks.

Since you seem t have 5G of unused RAM, it's unlikely to have a negative impact.
Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

Hello Everybody,

Now my "memory_limit" at php.ini has been adapted or increased to 128M.
But still have an error regarding the RRDTool version:
"ERROR: Installed RRDTool version does not match configured version.
Please visit the Configuration Settings and select the correct RRDTool Utility Version.
"

[root@rptsrv rra]# which rrdtool
/opt/rrdtool-1.4.2/bin/rrdtool
[root@rptsrv rra]#

My RRDTool installed version is 1.4.2 but at -> Console -> Cacti Settings -> Required Tool Versions -> RRDTool Utility Version : I can choose only RRDTool 1.0.x or RRDTool 1.2.x or RRDTool 1.3.x not RRDTool 1.4.x. How can I fix this issue.

Thanks in advance

[1] I make some changes at CACTI SETTINGS:
=> Console -> Cacti Settings -> Poller:

Maximum Concurrent Poller Processes= 1 -> 10
Maximum Threads per Process= 1 -> 20
Number of PHP Script Servers=1
Script and Script Server Timeout Value= 25 -> 60
The Maximum SNMP OID's Per SNMP Get Request= 10 -> 15

[2] Now I saw that my CACTI consume more memory (RAM) and no more practically available memory:

IS MY POLLER SETTING CORRECT ? or I need to adapted it ?

Currently, there is no explicit 1.4.x support. This will be part of 088. Use 1.3.x settings until then (it will not support 1.4.x features, of course)

When using spine, recommended settings are
- processes: 1-2 times the number of available cores
- threads: 10-15
These are rough values to strat from

Actually, your system has a large amount of memory available - When dealing with memory information under Linux, you have to remember that Linux will utilize most of the unused memory for buffers and disk caching. Typically, to work out the total available memory, add together the values for "free", "buffers" and "cached"
