A nice feature in tree view will be to make automated search headers.
For example: If want to have a header in wich you add an interface and all sub-interface from Cisco router you have to add them manually. If you create a new sub-interface then you should add it manually.
Another example: You want to show all graphs that have a "boss" in their name.
A solution for this could be to add regexp/"mysql like" search for host or header tree leafs which filters the results.
I know that you can use search in list/preview mode, but you have to type them manually every time.
Tree view regexp

"Smart Folders" is what the cool kids call it.
You would still need to mess around with permissions a fair bit. It would make one of my feature requests (make it so that graph tree permissions actually give you permission to view everything in the tree) pretty much impossible, too, since the tree would be dynamic.
A simpler thing that lets you save searches in some way would be almost as helpful, and much easier to implement... in fact, you could probably kind-of do it already with Superlinks.
Also, check out the Autom8 plugin for automatically adding graphs that match patterns to trees (and creating the graphs too). Again, it would be more useful if Tree permissions worked as above.

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)
