Two Issues After Upgrade

I have have version 0.8.3a working for almost a year and haven't had any issues with it. It's running PHP4 and Apache on Win2k3. I have been told we need to move all of our web-based apps to IIS so I figured I'd upgrade Cacti and PHP while I was at it. I'm now using PHP5 in ASAPI mode and the 6a release of Cacti.

I think I have everything working with two exceptions.

1) I can't get cactid to work at all. It just hangs with the "waiting on 1/1 pollers" message until it times out. I've run cactid.exe from a command line and don't have any problems there that I can see. Everything works fine if I use cmd.php so I've moved back to that for the time being.

2) Sometimes I create a datasource and it doesn't create the appropriate rrd file. I can debug the datasource and see the script it SHOULD have run, but it just doesn't run it. I see this most often when I I'm using a graphing template that isn't included in the default distribution. I thought it might be user error, but it's happened on EVERY template I've tried to customize, even if the customization is as simple as changing the name.

What log/data can I provide here to help with the troubleshooting? Thanks for your help.

Please verify that your CACTID path is correct. Clear logfile, run 1 pass in debug and post results.
