Import the default cacti database

In the install and configure cacti there is a section:
3. Import the default cacti database: shell> mysql cacti < cacti.sql

where do I get this sql file from? thanks

In our default package, the file "cacti.sql" resides in the topmost directory structure. If you have used e.g. apt, distro maintainers may already have imported the SQL for you.

I get this:
[root@cluj00 cacti-0.8.7e]# mysql cacti < cacti.sql
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

mysql -u username -p -h localhost data-base-name < data.sql
did the trick
