Cacti Friendly Hosting Companies

Post by amariotti »

I bought a dedicated box through Godaddy and got all the way through installation and setup only to find that they dont allow port 161 and 162. Does anyone know of hosting companies I might try?

Need to install by Sunday -

You can use a combination of private keys and ssh to gather data, or your can place snmp on a different port, or even use TCP if they block UDP as well. Best to start at net-snmp.org.

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?
