Not getting emails from Tholds

I have setup some thresholds and wanted to test them. I can see in cacti that thresholds have been reached and have alerts but I am not getting any emails. I get emails from cacti if I enable them for monitor and or manage but I never ger any threshold emails. I created 1 to monitor a service Logic al disk manager. Set to Threshold Enabled. High/Low Vales
High value is 2. Low is below 1. Breach duration 2 Min. Exact Value for data type. I have played with realert cycle currently at 1 min. Notify accounts has 3 people listed and I highlighted myself. I also put myself in Extra Alert Emails. Then I turned off the service I was monitoring. I can see in cacti the threshold has been breached and current val is 0 but I never get emails.
I also went into setti9ngs and tested email and was able to receive.
Any thoughts ?

Seems like I got it going. I changed from php mail to SMTP and I am getting emails.
