As I'm monitoring my network utilisation, from my management the question was raised if it is possible to have 1 minute polling intervals (the polling interval is simply adjustable by executing the poller.php every 60 seconds, I know) AND have the graphs also represent in 1 minute scaling.
So when using the "zoom" options in cacti 8.6 the x-scale and minimun data representation would be in 1 minute (or x minute / x seconds) scale instead of the standard 5 minutes.
Is this possible and if so: HOW??
Many thanx in advance
Graphing in 1 minute (or X seconds) intervals

If you want something done right, do it yourself...
Under the "Data Templates" find the datasource you want to be in X second steps. For example the Interface Traffic template. Change the steps value (standard 300 (=5 minutes) ) into the number of seconds you want (60 in my case for 1 minutes intervals) and chahnge the polling interval also to 60 seconds.
Now I have in my graphs 1 minute measured intervals. Perhaps this is not the way, but the represented data in my graphs seem to be accurate and correct compared to other benchmarkers I also have running for comparisation.
Enjoy
