Cacti for VSAT network

Hi,
I'm new on cacti, i've installed cacti Version 0.8.7e on my ubuntu. i want to monitor the traffic on my VSAT network which is the latency is high (avg 700 ms) . When i see the graph, i found periodical gap on the graph.
I didn't found any error in my cacti.log related to this problem.

Can someone give me any advise to solve my problem ?
