Can't add graphs to existing devices

I have a bunch of devices and have upgraded to 0.8.7e. When I tried to add a new graph to an existing device, I get "This data query returned 0 rows, perhaps there was a problem executing this data query. You can run this data query in debug mode to get more information." I have run the debug mode and it returns a bunch of data. I have applied all the patches that are current with no issues. I have removed the entire cacti folder and reinstalled following the upgrade instructions. Any ideas on what else I should be looking for?

This is not a known bug. On which platform are you running? Where did you get the cacti code from? Are you using php-snmp or net-snmp (see System Utilities -> Technical Support)

Running on Red Hat Linux release 7.1 (Seawolf)

I downloaded the source directly from cacti.net. I was on an older version and upgraded. Everything polls fine, just can no longer add new devices or graphs.

I meant: increase logging level and watch THE LOG while issuing a Verbose Query. It may happen, that the sql's generated when using Vernose Query are failing

I have increased the poller log level from LOW to DEBUG and DEVEL. When I did the verbose query, I didn't see any new data on the cacti.log file. I did not see anywhere else to increase the logging level. Am I missing something here?

The query is valid. It may happen, that your cacti db is corrupted. So please run the mysql command from mysql cli (or from phpmyadmin) and tell us the results

Here is what occurs when I run it from the command line mysql.

ERROR 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '(snmp_index AS unsigned) LIMIT 0,30' at line 1

I am running mysql cacti -u cactiuser -p

and then I am running:

It is very likely that you run an unsupported version of MySQL (assuming V3.x)

Oh my, yes, I am running MySQL 3.23.40. I guess I didn't check that when I upgraded to the new version. I will work on upgrading mySQL. I apologize for wasting your time due to my lack of reading the upgrade notes.
