problems with spine poller

Hi forum ii have a problem with spine, with cmd.php the poller is good but spine not poll, spine was compiled and installed with out problems the installation is good (well, i think that :o)

The box: debian 5, mysql 5. php 5, snmp5, cacti 0.8.7e, P.A. 2.6, Spine 0.8.7.e
may be i think are permissions on /usr/local/spine/etc/spine.conf there i dont have perms., i was edit my spine.conf like my cacti installation but dont works.

All the installation is good all works fine, just the problem is spine, thnks..

bottom are the images about cacti log file and plugin management thnks again.

Open a shell and run spine manually as follows:

Code: Select all

./spine -R -V 5 -S

Mmmm ok, this is the command line output:

srv:/usr/local/spine/etc# spine -R -V 5 -s
bash: spine: command not found
srvi:/usr/local/spine/etc# spine.conf -R -V 5 -s
bash: spine.conf: command not found

i don´t have any idea why not run this command, :o

in settings/poller page dont need enable or disable some in "some" place??, how i can test the spine with other command or my spine installation ??, thnks...

try this:

thnks Sumdzik, this is the ouput:

srv:/usr/local/spine/etc# ./spine -R -V 5 -s
bash: ./spine: No such file or directory


and my spine.conf is in the same path (/usr/local/spine/etc/spine.conf)

Please find the /path/to/spine at "Settings".
Use this path to call spine
R.

yes, all paths its ok, bottom is the page of paths,

can be that spine compilation is strange??? thnks...

the spine path was the problem, i´m put the spine.conf by //bin/spine ohohoh, i can´t believe that, check this output, its ok:
