Help with Aggregate plugin

Post by saintk »

Hi,

I have Cacti 0.8.7e along with the Aggregate Plugin installed to be able to create graphs from multiple interfaces. The idea behind this is to have a baseline network traffic image. I have managed to total the interfaces without a problem, but there is 1 thing i can't figure out.

I simply want all the interfaces total'ed in the graph, and below it to show just the Total All imtems current/av/max instead of all the interfaces listed and the total at the bottom (as shown at the screenshot below). Any idea how i can remove all this extra information?

Thanks,

Simply edit the graph and remove the legend items (the GPRINT items).

Removing GPRINTs will not change the total.

Of course, leave the GPRINT items for the total...

Do you really WANT all data been graphed in green? Do you understand the task of color templates of aggregate?

Hi,

Thanks for your replies.

- Yes, i want all data in green :) The idea is just to create a baseline useage in the network so we can see if anything unusual happends (for example an entire office attempting to watch an online stream).

If i remove the GPRINT value's it leaves me with "inbound, inbound, inbound, inbound etc" below the graph. As soon as i delete the STACK line my entire graph breaks and i need to rebuild it.

Any idea's?

In the Stack line, remove the 'inbound' from 'Text Format'

Hi,

I removed all the GPRINT values and emptied the text fields for the STACK values. Now all text is nicely removed, but it leaves me with a new problem. Now it only shows "ALL ITEMS" below the graph, without any data behind it.

Any idea's about this one?

Cheers

Odds are you deleted the GPRINT items for the 'ALL ITEMS' total.
