I know this is probably been answered a thousand times but I honestly cant see where to actually control the curves and pictures properly. The web UI is pretty straight forward but very limiting to what I am trying to perform. How do you get the full package details from weathermap without using the web UI?

It comes with quite a large manual. Look in the docs/ folder. There's a visual guide in there that shows you that you want the VIA command. The editor does not (currently) support editing it though.

In fact, even the example map has one in it.

You could do like this:(config the file without Web UI)
1.open the config file
vi /var/...../cacti/plugin/weathermap/configs/xxxx
2.find the link and locate someting like...
NODES node2f node1f
VIA 587 141
3. Add the VIA parameter
4. Try it, you could do that better than me. Good luck.

so there is no real gui yet other then the web UI for cacti that can be really point and click? its all done through the config file? thats really I guess my main question. I have a ton of nodes setup via the web UI and im just wondering if i can make it prettier haha

Yes, you will have to edit a text file. It really isn't so bad You can still use the editor for positioning etc - it won't break the parts that it doesn't understand, you just can't edit them.

In fact, you can skip the text editor. Click on a node or link and choose the Edit button at the bottom of the green box. You can edit the text config for that node/link.

Hey thats not such a bad idea. I am not going to lie I have been to busy and havent had a chance to run over the full manual(such a guy). I have designed the layout with the web UI so the next step is basically doing the linking and I just need to make sure these link arrows are not so big and over lapping and so forth. The curving of the arrows is really where i need to make sure they will work. As I monitor a ton of seperate locations physically the gps map isnt as detailed as this weathermap will be.
