[solved] Poller trying to poll nonexistent device

Post by b-boy »

Hi again

I noticed the following error in my log

10/09/2009 10:10:02 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[0] DS[83] WARNING: Result from SCRIPT not valid. Partial Result: ...
10/09/2009 10:10:02 AM - SPINE: Poller[0] Host[0] ERROR: Empty result []: '/usr/bin/perl /usr/share/cacti/site/scripts/medic.pl '

The strange thing is that I have no device with that ID "host[0]' :o , I had a look in the mysql db and there is also no record in the host table for ID 0, how whould i go about fixing this?

Thanks in advance.

Check the DS83, too. To which device is it associated?

Thanks, I found the rouge data source causing the error killed it and my poller is looking happy now.
