BOOST Errors

Post by msw1970 »

Hi

I'm seeing the following in my cacti.log...
10/07/2009 09:12:12 AM - BOOST: Poller[0] WARNING: RRD Update Warning 'ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 1254903002 when last update time is 1254903002 (minimum one second step)' for Local Data ID '3680'

10/07/2009 09:12:12 AM - BOOST_SERVER: Poller[0] ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 1254903002 when last update time is 1254903002 (minimum one second step)

10/07/2009 09:12:13 AM - BOOST: Poller[0] WARNING: RRD Update Warning 'ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 1254903002 when last update time is 1254903002 (minimum one second step)' for Local Data ID '3746'

10/07/2009 09:12:13 AM - BOOST_SERVER: Poller[0] ERROR: illegal attempt to update using time 1254903002 when last update time is 1254903002 (minimum one second step)
The graphs that these data sources relate to appear to be working correcty.

Anyone have any ideas what could be causing these error messages?

Well, it's likely a user updating a graph after the boost process has updated this. However, this was not supposed to happen. Don't know why this is not being trapped though. Can you open a bug report here:

Thanks,

For those wondering, I'm still here, but lost in the shadows. Yearning for less bugs. Who want's a Cacti 1.3/2.0? Streams anyone?

Ahh, we have a large screen in the office with these 2 graphs permanently on it... I guess that's the cause.

I've raised a bug report as requested.
