[solved] Mysql alt install

Post by mstbone67a »

So I am wanting to use the windows installer from bsod2600 but it is not allowing me to install mysql to g:

Reason for this My G drive is about 800gb and is my data drive
This is what the installer is showing it will install to.

G:\Apache2\htdocs\Cacti
G:\Spine
C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0
G:\Net-SNMP
G:\PHP
G:\RRDTool
C:\Program Files\GetIF

I have 270gb on the c drive but I dont want to mix the data with my system files.

I would think I would want the mysql db to be on my data drive.

Until the installer is changed to allow the detailed locations where applications are installed, you will have to manually install cacti.
