Cannot login Local admin after setup LDAP Authentication

Post by alexf »

Dear All,

After trying to configure to use LDAP for authentication, I try to login
again. The "Realm" shows the Local and LDAP selection.

However, I found that I cannot login using the admin in "Local" database.

Now, I cannot login my Cacti which is running for over 1 year.

Please help to let me login again.
Any procedure to undo the "LDAP" setting and use ONLY local account
database.

Thanks......

Problem Solved!!

Post by alexf »

Hello All,

Thanks to opensource. I have debugged the
auth_login.php and include/auth.php

The problem is NOT related to the LDAP setting but is due to I setup
the Guest account to "admin" and no guest account template...

This trigger the auth.php logout automatically and I cannot get any
Web Interface to redo my setting.

I have removed the guest setting using the MYSQL database
and now I can work with Cacti again. But still I need to
configure LDAP setting.

Best Regards,

Alex :D

OK, what did you do in MySQL to fix this? I have this exact problem.
