Cacti syslog plugin not showing any host. I have installed syslog plugin successfully but i am not able to get any message or host . How do I get the host on the syslog tab. Do I need to make any changes in the config other than mentioned in Haloe/Syslog Plugin. If Yes please let me know

1) wrong forum, moving.
2) re-download the syslog plugin, as a wrong version was released a few days ago.
3) have you read the readme which is in the syslog plugin folder?

I have downloaded the plugin from http://cactiusers.org/downloads/. The syslog plugin version is 0.5.2. I have no events in the syslog_incoming table. Do I need to import syslog logs into Mysql database so that I will be viewing these logs stored in the database. Please clarify how does syslog plugin in cacti does work. How does cacti listen to events. From where shall i download this plugin. Please find my screeen shot attachment below.
