Syslog Issue

Hi, all:

Is that possible that I can configure syslog plugin to access the database on the network instead of localhost of Cacti server?

I'm using "rsyslog" as my syslog service on Fedora box.

In the first few lines of config.php in the syslog directory:

$syslogdb_default  = 'syslog';
$syslogdb_hostname = 'localhost';
$syslogdb_username = 'username';
$syslogdb_password = 'password';

Change the parameters appropriately.

Thank you for the solution, but the table structure of "rsyslog" is different than the syslog-ng, which file I should modify in order to get syslog plugin to work with rsyslog daemon?
