All,
First thanks for this valuable code. I found this while searching for a way to bundle Nagios and Cacti into one interface. I too believe Cacti and Nagios are both needed to truly manage network nodes.
That said.
Running RedHAt EL 5.3
nagios-3.0.6-1.el5.rf <- Note Nagios installed from RPM
php-5.1.6-23.el5
mysql-5.0.45-7.el5
php-json-ext-1.2.1.tar.bz2 <- compiled on the host
cacti-0.8.7e.tar.gz
cacti-plugin-0.8.7e-PA-v2.5.zip
ndoutils-1.4b8.tar.gz
npc-2.0.4.tar.gz
All seems well exept the NPC GUI within Cacti is not showing anything in the Mysql tables. I see no Hosts, No Host Groups, Services etc..
Everything under 'Nagios Status' is Green (Nagios ON, Notifications, Host checks, service checks Enabled
Reporting->N2C Import Hosts ... There are no Hosts to import
There's nothing in the Event log that looks troublesome.
I know there is data in the npc_ tables as I have command line acces and select from np_hostsgroups returns
+--------------+-------------+-------------+---------------------+------------------+

Ive got alot of INSERT statement in the n2dn.debug file
Why do I not see any services or hosts within the NPC GUI ?
what am I missing?
Data in npc_ tables but NPC GUI not showing it
