The hooks are in the installer for Vista, so should probably work -- granted the MSI installers for mysql, php, apache, etc all work with 2008. I haven't gotten a copy yet to try....

Very nice! I started screwing around for hours trying this piece by piece and was just about to jump off a cliff. Then I found this installer.

I tried installing using IIS on a clean system (win2k3 x32 sp2), but no dice. I read over both guides (regular install and post install) and triple checked everything. The cacti pages came up empty (no error, just blank between body tags). But I could put my own php page in there and it worked. No log entries to be found in cacti or in application or system.

Anyway, reinstalled using Apace and it's working first try. Thanks!!!

You're welcome.

I'm working on the next version of the installer which is based off Cacti/spine 0.8.7e and PIA 2.5. Planning on including various user template/scripts -- as an option.

You need to follow standard plugin procedures for installing and enabling them. Refer to the README's in the plugins folders for specific instructions.
