Hi all!
When i create some data sources, a new .rrd file adds in /rra directory.
for example:
-rw-r--r-- 1 cacti cacti 47992 Aug 13 19:55 localhost_ping_8.rrd
when I remove this data sources from web interface file localhost_ping_8.rrd still exist in my /rra directory. How I can remove that file from disk, by my web interface?
remove *.rrd files in /rra directory

The rrdclean plugin will do this job for you, and help you find old redundant rrd files.
In a normal system, the web interface doesn't have permission to write to the rra/ directory. I'm not sure if it would delete the files even then though.

Weathermap 0.98a is out! & QuickTree 1.0. Superlinks is over there now (and built-in to Cacti 1.x).
Some Other Cacti tweaks, including strip-graphs, icons and snmp/netflow stuff.
(Let me know if you have UK DevOps or Network Ops opportunities, too!)

There have been issues (noatime) where this is misleading as well. RRDClean will work around this and delete files through the poller (who as the correct permissions as he created the files )Deviloper wrote:No, It would not delete the files.
Cacti is very misleading in this case.
Just remove no longer "updated" files manuelly... easiest way sort by last change date... delete... in a explorer-style ftp-scp or whatever tool
