Have you read through http://docs.cacti.net/ yet?
Sounds like you didn't tell cacti to create any graphs yet for your device. When you're in a device in cacti, did you click on the 'Create Graphs for this Host' link and then select the items you want created?

graph debug mode
yeah i have enabled create graph for this host
when i click graph management and turn on graph debug (this is for interface stats, i have add the device again and deleted all templates for QoS and cpu. thought of starting with interface and see the graphs)
under graph management is see this
rrd tool days:
error: opening c:/cacti/apache2/htdocs/cacti/rra/tets_traffic_in_39.rrd no such file or directory
what we want is to get QOS template working, interface stats will be good to start with
thanks for the reply

Per the debugging instructions I linked, please post a SINGLE pass of your cacti.log with it in debugging mode.
Also make sure the \cacti\rrd\ and \cacti\log\ folders have Modify NTFS permissions for the user account which the apache service runs under.

i have installed cacti with local adminsitrator account and in servies used that account to start the apache service. this account has full control on cacti folder where cacti is installed and with inherit permission on child objects
enclosed are the screen shot of the error. i have added a windows xp host as a device just to check and try whether rrd files are created.
interestingly device status is unknown. there are no duplicate template or graphs selected

You're cacti file is useless since it only contains WEBLOG entries from all your graph failures. clear the log file, change the cacti logging level to debug, disable weblogging and then wait for the cacti poller to run a single pass. THEN post the cacti.log.
