hi
when i use realtime for the in/out bits and total bandwidth i just get an image X like the image has not been found.
if i use realtime on the same device and interface but with the 95th percentile then it draws fine and everything works.
(see screenshots)
im not sure whats happened. i have ensured the permissions for "cactiuser" are full on the folder. if they were wrong then i would have though that NO graphs would be drawn.
the data gets stored in /cacti/realtime ( a folder i created), and the graphs that do not show DO CREATE a rrd file.
any ideas what i could do to fix the problem?
thanks!

Please grab the SVN trunk for Realtime and let us know if that fixes your issue. I need to push a rash of updates, I just have not had the time.

ok i think i found the "SVN repository" but i dont understand what i need or what i need to do.
as an update though, i continued searching and came accross this topic: http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t ... me&start=0
i upgraded to the 0.36 realtime but with no change to the issues.
another problem i noticed is that the realtime graphs that do display are not showing the same format / layout as the main graph.
so i changed my RRDtool from 1.3 to 1.2 and it has fixed BOTH issues.
is there a downside to using 1.2 over 1.3? if not i will continue to use and this problem is solved.
many thanks,

Before I release Realtime 0.4, I have to investigate why this is not working. For now it's likely a change that was made in RRDtool 1.3.
Just curious, what is your Cacti version?

Cacti Version 0.8.7e
you can mark this as SOLVED.. i changed back to RRDtool 1.2 and my problems are gone.
the only difference i notice is a warning under tech support. if thats the only thing i will leave it this way indeffinately.
i did see a forum post supplying a patch for strange rrdtool 1.3 behavior. i've no idea how to apply the patch so i will leave it like this. i will most likely break something if i fiddle.
thanks!
