After upgreiding to cacti latest and plugin arch 1.4 zond stop working for me ... here is the error

this is known problem reported by several users. I am working on this (and several other issues) now.

It does not return anything. It just forwards me to the cacti index if I paste the url to a browser window.
Is makes no differance if i use a window with logged-in user, or the guest user(not logged-in).
Permissions seems fine(guest user has permissions on the graphs, also the traffic datasource works fine).
Is it normal for the task variable to be that long?

ok, it is normal behaviour of the zond security.
please check if "SECURITY ENVIRONMENT=CACTI(strong)"
then, open zond graph(no matter if it shows nothing), copy url from html source
then, open new tab (not new browser instance!) and paste url there.

remember - if session id's will not match - you will be redirected to cacti login screen.

Whaat du you mean by try this one!, My question was related to ZonD this is a different plugin. Do I need to install this plugin as a prerequesite ????

both of these plugins are independent.

ZOND has no advantages if compared to "realtime". Moreover - it has issues that can't be solved at cacti-side. I'm not supporting ZOND plugin for over the year now.
Community uses "realtime" - so should you. All quesitons reg. "realtime" should not be addressed here.
